Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of SlideHUD — the desktop app, the plugin for Even G2 glasses, our website and the relay service that connects them — operated by 上海桦书闽数据科技有限公司 (HSMData) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using SlideHUD you agree to them.
1. The service
SlideHUD relays commands from your Even R1 ring or G2 glasses to presentation software on your computer, and relays what your glasses display back to them. It requires hardware and software we do not make, including Even Realities glasses and the Even app, and PowerPoint, WPS Presentation or other presentation software. SlideHUD is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Even Realities, Microsoft, Kingsoft or Apple.
2. Your account
You need an account to link your glasses and computer. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 14 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to use SlideHUD.
3. Free and Pro plans
The free plan lets you use SlideHUD with core features. Pro unlocks additional features described in the app and on our website. New accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial with no payment required; when it ends your account returns to the free plan unless you buy Pro.
4. Payments, renewals and refunds
Purchases on the international edition are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller of SlideHUD subscriptions. Creem handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT, and its terms apply to the purchase itself.
Prices are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If SlideHUD Pro does not work for you, email support@hsmdata.cloud within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. Where the law gives you further rights, those apply.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse SlideHUD: no attempts to access other people’s accounts or devices, to overload or probe the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Your content
Your presentations remain yours. We process the slide information described in our Privacy Policy only to show it on your glasses, and we do not store it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep SlideHUD reliable, but it depends on your internet connection, Bluetooth, third-party apps and our hosting providers. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. For important talks, keep a backup way to advance your slides, such as the keyboard or a clicker. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
8. Intellectual property
SlideHUD, its software and its design belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps while you comply with these terms.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using SlideHUD and delete your account at any time from the app. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, SlideHUD is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a presentation that does not go as planned. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction where we are located, in Shanghai, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use SlideHUD after that means you accept the new terms.
